Über den Zaun brings together seventeen artists whose practices weave across boundaries, exploring how kinship and collaboration emerge in the spaces between. Through installation, gesture, and dialogue, their works unsettle the myth of the solitary artist, lingering instead in connection, care, and shared creation.

In acts of making, conversation, and attention, the exhibition insists that relation is not given but enacted: it is fragile, unruly, and generative. Über den Zaun responds to a world of separations with openness, reciprocity, and play, holding space for the subtle exchanges between artists, institutions, and audiences.

Kesselhaus proudly presents OG;68 in Offenburg, ending the year on a high note together with its visitors.

We have curated a vibrant mix of eclectic artists from the Ruttkowski;68 family, allowing their works to unfold in a captivating interplay. For the very first time, we venture beyond the familiar walls of our gallery’s premises, gathering instead at the forecourt area outside and inside the Kesselhaus.
Together with the city of Offenburg, we have transformed the space into a unique sculpture park –
a place to wander, linger, and immerse oneself in the dialogue between art and its surroundings.

Simultaneously, an exhibition in the project space of Kesselhaus complements this outdoor experience, showcasing paintings and drawings by exciting contemporary artists. By blending these two spaces, the setting invites visitors to engage and contemplate, from the openness of the outdoors
to the closeness of an intimate environment.

With works by: Eva Beresin, Jenny Brosinski, Dennis Buck, Lars Eidinger, Carolin Eidner, Philip Emde, Michael Günzer, Conny Maier, Stefan Marx, Joakim Ojanen, Oskar Rink,
Stefan Strumbel, Fabian Treiber, Mathias Weinfurter and Marco Zumbé.
